Ka Nee Ta Casino

Ka Nee Ta casino was  located in Warm Springs Oregon. The Oregon Casino was a  whopping 25,000 square feet of relaxation intermingled with live casino action.

It was also pretty small, kinda musty, and well, sadly in need of an update for sure.

On May 4, 2011 ground was broken at Indian Head casino, which will has since replaced Kahneeta.

KaNeeTa featured blackjack, Slot machines, 350 Video Poker games , and 2 live Poker tables starting at 4pm every night. KaNeeTa didn’t offer craps, or roulette, as far as table games go, it was  blackjack all the way baby.

KahneeTa is still a fabulous resort, and water park, with hot springs, and probably one of the best places to visit in the area, outside of Maupin Oregon during rafting season.

Kah Nee Ta Reservation

The 600,000-acre reservation that hosts Ka Nee Ta was formed in 1879 and settled by Paiutes, Warm Springs and Wasco tribes.

If the beauty of the Oregon desert isn’t enough to whet your traveling-jones appetite, surely the excitement of the casino floor – lined with wall to wall slots, video poker, blackjack and poker tables – and the spectacular amenities will certainly light a fire under your caboose!

You can see just how convenient a trip to Kah Nee Ta Casino is by clicking ‘Get Directions’ on our location map, provided by Google Maps. Don’t forget to take an invigorating dip in the hot springs pool before you leave the Oregon casino.

There are 109 rooms available at Kah Ne Ta, and 30 more luxurious suites.

This is a great casino for spring trips, when things are still rainy in Portland, and dreary at the Oregon Coast Casinos. Ka-Nee-Tah Casino is located just east of Mount Hood, on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.

If you’re looking to warm up and dry out, longing to feel the kiss of the sun and  enjoy outdoor style fun year-round, while enjoying the action of a casino in Oregon, and the luxury of a spa resort, you’re headed to the right place.

Kah Nee Tah, for the Gambler in You

Kah Nee Tah features two live action poker tables, located in the poker room on the third floor of the casino. Most evenings a game of hold’em, and depending on visitors tastes, a game of stud is on offer.

In addition to regular ring style poker games Kah Nee Tah features two weekly poker tournaments, Thursdays and Fridays both beginning at 6:30.

Kah Nee Tah is famous for their hot springs spa, as well as their 140 foot water slide (you know you have to try that out..).

Visitors to Kah Nee Ta have at their disposal a hot springs mineral bath, aromatherapy, and elaborate massage treatments.  Additionally, the Olympic sized swimming pool at Kah Nee Ta is filled with mineral water straight from the hot springs. Amazing for the body, and available to the whole family!

So an Olympic Pool, a WaterSlide, in addition to an 18 hole golfcourse, (perfect place for a girl to send her guy while she’s off in the poker room!)

In case that’s not enough to entertain your family in the Oregon Desert, there’s also a tennis court, Kayaking, and Fishing in the Warm Springs River during the summer months.

To cure the hunger in you, there is a buffet at Kah Nee Ta (Okay, so you saw that comin’. . . ) and a GOURMET restaurant (Ha!).
